Two stages, different demands

Official test FAQ

Stage One

1–2 October 2026

English multiple choice and maths with multiple-choice or numerical answers, recorded on computer-marked answer sheets.

The school allocates the day. Each test is under 60 minutes. Stage One determines the invitation to Stage Two.

Stage Two

November 2026, by invitation

Written English and maths. English includes reading comprehension and creative writing, with some longer answers.

Similar in length to Stage One. The FAQ says maths workings receive no marks. The exact November date is not yet listed in the checked sources.

These are The Tiffin Girls’ School tests. Tiffin Boys, Tiffin Girls and Sutton SET have separate admissions arrangements.
